Alison Gibbons is a senior lecturer in stylistics, English Language and literature; in other words an academic with research interests in the creative arts.
Alison likes: beautiful books as objects you hold in your hands; collage; interactive narrative and art; quirkiness; people who have a passion for something; laughter; and that excited feeling you sometimes get all of a sudden for no fathomable reason.
Alison dislikes: the feeling you get when you run your fingers over carpet or velvet; political complacency; and people who have a complete disregard for others.

Since 2013, Alison is an editor and writer for Notes on Metamodernism.
